James was originally from Chicago but living in California for many years.


Beloved husband of Lydia A. Shea and stepfather of Jim Gascon. Brother of Patricia Carrillo, Lawrence Shea, and John Marczewski. With many cousins, nieces, and nephews and their children, special nephew Ralph Carrillo, best friend Fred Sosinski, and many friends and neighbors.


He will be remembered for his passion of cooking, traveling, and great taste in music. He served in the army in the Vietnam War from 1966-1968. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with a Bronze Service Star, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/ device, and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry. He will be missed dearly.


Funeral Services will be held on Thursday 02/18 at Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park & Mortuary, 10621 Victory Blvd. North Hollywood, CA, from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
