Winnie Vander Woude was born on March 12, 1901 near Holland, Minnesota to Frank and Clara Miersma Vander Woude. She grew to womanhood in the area and on March 26, 1919 was united in marriage to Peter Zeinstra in Pipestone County. They settled on a farm near Holland, Minnesota where she spent the remainder of her life until they retired and moved into Holland. As a young woman she professed her faith in God. She was a faithful member of the First Christian Reformed Church of Holland.

Besides her many friends, she is lovingly remembered by her husband, Peter, four sons, Felix and Bernard of Holland, Minnesota; Floyd and Harvey of Pipestone, Minnesota; three daughters, Alvera, Mrs. Donald R. Klingbile; Claretta, Mrs. Bert Baartman; Pearl, Mrs. Keith Pritchett of Pipestone; one son-in-law, Jake Overgaauw of Ruthton, Minnesota, 26 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Also three brothers, Bert of Edgerton, Minnesota, Paul of Chandler, Minnesota and Harry of Pipestone, Minnesota, two sisters, Jessie, Mrs. Wm. J. Kooiman of Edgerton, Minnesota and Henrietta, Mrs. Tom N. Vanden Bosch of Edgerton, Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son who passed away in infancy and a daughter, Sylvia, Mrs. Jake Overgaauw, who passed away in January, 1970.
