Jesse F.Babbs, 73 died suddenly Sunday at the home of a daughter,Mrs.Roscoe Kibler of Newton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 oclock at the Falmouth Methodist church with Rev.Niles Stone of Oblong and Rev.Dean Abendroth officiating. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery.
Mr.Babbs was first married to Bertha McComas in 1899 and to this union four children were born. Two died in infancy. Following his first wifes death he married Florence Cunefare Warfel in 1911. To this union two children were born and one died in infancy.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs.Roscoe (Jesse) Kibler and Mrs.Lloyd(Lenore) Flocken, both of Newton,one son Virgil of Newton,seven grandchildren and two brothers,H.E.Babbs, and E.R.Babbs of Newton.
The body will remain at the Reese funeral home until time for the funeral services.
Jesse is buried with his 2nd wife Florence.
