The funeral for Calvin (Hank) Pease, 85, of Chatfield, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Preston Paul officiating. There will be a spring burial in the St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Hank died Feb. 16, 2010, at the Sunrise Cottages of Rochester, where he had resided since January 2006.

Calvin William Pease was born in Chatfield on May 14, 1924, to William and Mae (Holets) Pease. He attended Chatfield High School, and married Donna Kohlmeyer on Sept. 26, 1944, in Chatfield. Hank has lived in Chatfield all of his life. He was a farmer.

Hank was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and held all the offices of the congregation. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, bowling, dancing and the great outdoors.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Mae Pease of Chatfield: a son, Donald (Elaine) Pease of Chatfield; a daughter, Penny (Wayne) Heppding of Chatfield; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Plenge of Chatfield, Mary Boland of Cherry Grove, Minn., and Helen Arnold of Chatfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

Memorials may go to the St. Paul Lutheran Church narthex fund.

Visitation will be one hour before the service, Feb. 20, at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
