RITES HELD FOR MR. FRED BEUTLER
Fred Beutler, son of Christ and Ann Beutler, was born in Bern Switzerland on May 13, 1880 and passed away at his home March 5, 1961 at the age of 80 years 9 months and 20 days.
He was baptized in Switzerland, at the age of four years, he emigrated to the United States with his parents and settled in Yutan, Nebr., he was confirmed at the Reformed Church in Yutan.
He married Anna Miller in Yutan, on February 27, 1907. He and his wife celebrated their 54th anniversary this year. The couple lived on a farm north of Yutan for 19 years and moved to a farm in Orchard until his death.
He leaves to mourn; his wife Anna; his three sons, Elmer,of Kent Wash., Edward and Lloyd of Orchard, Nebr.; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; two brothers, Ernest of Pierce, Nebr. and Louie, and a 1/2 sister Emma Ken and a 1/2 brother Herman all of Yutan.
Services were held on Wednesday March 8, at the St. Peter's English Lutheran Church at Orchard. Interment was held at Orchard Cemetery.
