SHAWNEE - Walter Lee McCool, 68, of Indianapolis, formerly of Hemlock, died Friday, July 2, 1993, in Indianapolis. He was born July 28, 1924, in West Milton. Mr. McCool was a member of Shawnee Masonic Lodge 526 F&AM and a retired employee of the Internal Revenue Service. Surviving are his wife, Carol M. Flowers McCool; three sons, James C. McCool of Dayton and Philip L. McCool and John L. McCool, both of Indianapolis; one grandson, Benjamin McCool of Dayton; and one sister, Marianna Shear of Lewisburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. and Glenna Busche McCool; and an infant daughter in 1950. Calling hours will be at noon Thursday, July 8, until services at 2 p.m. at Humphrey Funeral Home, Shawnee, with the Rev. Clarence Thompson officiating. Burial will be in New Lexington Cemetery.
