Paul Phillip Holt, 71, Bardstown, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, at his residence. He was born Sept. 7, 1938, in Bloomfield. He was a retired contractor for Holt's Construction, owner of Holt's Campground, and a member of Nelson Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Linda M. Holt; his parents, Pearl and Chester Holt; and a brother, Gary Holt.
Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Moschetti and Janet C. Holt both of Bardstown; three grandchildren, Linda (Marty) Lawrence, Anthony Phillip Moschetti and Courtney Renee Gosser, all of Bardstown; a half-brother, Roy Holt, Washington; two half-sisters, Judy Carol Tuck, Glasgow, and Janet Sue Haverlin, Florida; mother and father-in-law, Hazel and Nolan Glass, Georgetown; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Danny Hoffman, Sadieville; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in Bardstown Cemetery. Dr. Tom Mobley will officiate.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Saturday and noon-2 p.m. Sunday at Barlow Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may go to Hospice of Nelson County or to Nelson Christian Church.
