PLATTSMOUTH, Neb. - Services were held Friday at 10 a.m. at Fusselman-Perry-Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth (Neb.) for Darwin M. {Sandy} Babbitt, 86 formerly of Henderson.
Mr. Babbitt died Tuesday at a retirement home in Omaha. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances.
He was born May 10, 1901, in Henderson and later moved to Plattsmouth. Mr. Babbitt worked for International Harvester and also was a farmer and livestock dealer.
Survivors include three sons, Naasson of Fountain Hills, Calif., Wayne of Heber Springs, Ark., and Wynne of Plattsmouth; two sisters Elaine Clausen of Underwood and Dorothy Barrows of Tucson, Ariz., three brothers, Noell, Gerald {Calif.} and Ward {Colo.}; nine grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren.
Interment was at Oak Hills Cemetery in Plattsmouth.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
