SERVICES HELD FOR HOYT V. ROBERTSON

Funeral services for Hoyt V. Robertson, age 56, Porter retired steel worker, were held today (Tuesday) at 2pm in the Vann's Lake School. He died Friday, January 25, 1963 in a Muskogee, Oklahoma hospital, after a lengthy battle with Emphysema.

Born November 29, 1906 in Porter, Oklahoma (Indian Territory), he moved to Los Angeles, California in 1941 and returned to Porter in 1960. Robertson was a member of the United Steel Workers of America.

Pastor R.M. Moser, of the Porter First Methodist Church, officiated at the services.

Survivors are his son, Darryll Robertson of Norwalk, California; a daughter, Mrs. Norita Lee Stevenson of Pampa, Florida; six brothers, William, Fred, Jess and Lawrence Robertson, all of Porter, Frank of Artesia, California, Tom of Tulsa, Oklahoma and a half-brother, Homer Scott Newberry of Porter; also 2 grandchildren.

Burial was made in Greenhill Cemetery in Muskogee, Oklahoma with the Green Funeral Home of Wagoner, Oklahoma in charge of arrangements.

Honorary pallbearers were Bob Brandon, Lee Hurst, Dave McCollough, Lawrence Dilbeck, Ernest Adams and Glen Tibbs.

Active pallbearers included Clifford and Dick Newberry, Norman and Douglas Robertson, Jerry Hogue and Bill Ladd.
