Mr. Bolt was born at Detroit, Michigan, the son of William Bolt and Martha (Coe) Bolt.
He was a coal miner by trade and had lived in the Pawnee area for many years prior to moving to Noble, IL
He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Mr. Bolt's list of survivors is incomplete but it is known that he had 3 children, including a son Sgt. Richard Bolt, Jr. now serving in the US Army in Germany, his father, William Bolt of Pawnee, his mother, Mrs. Martha Najim of Farmington, New Mexico and several half sisters and brothers.
Funeral services for Mr. Bolt will be held on Weds aft. at 1:30pm in the Memorial Chapel of the Summers-Rainey Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Maple Dale Cemetery
