Funeral for William Aubrey Everett Guthery, 97, of West Point will be today, Feb. 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Huey Hartselle and Bro. Mike Webb officiating.
Burial will be in Cullman Memory Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Guthery passed away at Cullman Regional Medical Center on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010. He was born May 3, 1912, in Trimble to William Henderson Guthery and Sarah Elizabeth Holloway Guthery. Aubrey was a member of Beulah Church of Christ and a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army/Air Force. He was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed farming. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Audrey Hudson Guthery; brothers and sisters Grady Guthery, Marilla Guthery, Avery Guthery, Irona Nellis and Anne Guinn; and one grandson, Jonathan Sinyard.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Guthery and Rosemary Sinyard; son Stephen (Joy) Guthery; three grandchildren, Allen (Stephanie) Sinyard, Joel (Ashley) Guthery and Joanna Guthery; three great-grandchildren, Katlyn, Gabrielle and Tyler Sinyard; and a host of nieces and nephews.
