Atlanta-Praise services celebrating the life of John O.Bailey,72,of Atlanta ,will be 2 p.m.Sunday.January 7,2007.at First Baptist Church in Atlanta ,with the Rev.Joe Srygley officiating.Burial will be in Laws Chapel Cemetery.Mr.Bailey was born August 8,1934,in Hawkins ,and he passed away on Wednesday ,December 27,2006 ,in Atlanta.
He was former president and CEO of First National Bank in Atlanta, owner of J.O. Ranch ,and founder of NE Texas Simmental Associating . Mr.Bailey was preceded in death by his Mother ,Ronda Bailey ;father ,T.J.Bailey;son Brett Allen Bailey;and brother ,Frank Pat Bailey. Survivors include his wife Daphene Bailey,son John Bailey ,Jr. of Longview;two grand sons,Brett Allen Davis and John Dalton Bailey;one great grand daughter ,Railey Nevaeh Davis ;and sister Imarene Bailey. The family will receive friends immediatelyfollowing services in the fellowship hall .
