Doris Irene Easterday, 69, 695 Erie St., died at 3:40 p.m. Sunday, May 2, 2004, at her home.
She was born on Nov. 27, 1934, in Streator, Ill., to Floyd Leslie and Goldie (Dodge) Leslie Decker. She married Robert L. Easterday on June 6, 1953, in Wabash. He survives.
She was a homemaker and attended the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall of Wabash.
Also surviving are two sons, Robert L. "Bobby" Easterday, Las Vegas, and Terry R. Easterday, LaFontaine; four daughters, Betty (Tom) Worthington, Sequim, Wash., Barbara (Greg) Simons, Royal Center, Rachel (Mark) Allard and Loretta DeYarmon, both of Wabash; seven sisters, Elinor Holcomb, Beverly Antolik, Betty Kendall, Donna Casey, Caroline Kendall and Joan Ostring, all of Streator, Ill., and Dorothy McDonald, Pontiac, Ill.; two brothers, Raymond Leslie and Ronald Leslie, both of Streator, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Six brothers and one sister are deceased.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Manchester Avenue Chapel. Lenon Harris will officiate. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday.
