Eula Mae Courtney age 87 of Warren, Ark. died Friday, April 24, 2009 at home. She was born May 23, 1921 in Dermott, Ark. a daughter of the late Pheoha Morman and Drusie McGhee Morman. She was a retired farmer, a homemaker, a charter member of the Lighthouse Church and the widow of Aubrey Courtney whom she married May 2, 1939 and he died March 27, 2003.

Also preceding her in death was a son Jan Morris Courtney, brothers, Clifford Morman, Norman Morman and Son Morman, sisters Ethele Patton and Corie Beth Morman.

Survivors are a daughter Janice Peek and spouse Johnny, Warren, Ark. A sister Lummie Fryer, McGhee, Ark. 6 grandchildren. Jerry Courtney, Jannette Stafford and spouse Donald, Rebecca Oliver and spouse Tim, Tonya Vick and spouse Marvin, Paula McDougald and spouse Paul, Christopher Peek and spouse April. 7 great-grandchildren. Also a niece, nephew and a host of friends.

Funeral services were 2:00PM Monday April 27 at Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Donald Stafford, Rev. John Kidwell and Rev. Russell Hensley officiating. Linda Barrett was organist and The Bryant Sisters sang. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers were Jeremy Courtney, Jacob Courtney, Christopher Peek, Aaron Robins, Martin Skorcz, Jim Gray, James Morman, Ryan Hicks. Honorary pallbearers were Trent Vanderzwalm, Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Peek, Raymond Sharp, Ebenezer Hunting Club, Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Mann, Dr. Joe H. Wharton, Annette Colvin Family, Janet Reynolds, Patrice Boswell and Sharon Ridgell.
