Caroline Bardie Sawyers, 85, of Luray, died on Saturday, April 17, 2004, at Page Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Oct. 20, 1918, in Fishersville and was a daughter of the late Clyde and Lillie Aleshire.
On April 29, 1945, she married James Sawyers.
Surviving in addition to her husband are one daughter of Luray; a brother of Stanley; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Alma Noland.
Burial was in the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray.
