Frank L. "Stubs" Alling, age 86, died at his home. He was the son of Myron and Catherine Bond Alling.
Frank was a lifelong resident of Barnes, and a charter member of the Sheffield VFW Post 8755. He served in the U. S. Navy in WWII in the Pacific. He was employed by Pennzoil United and retired in 1980.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife (Lenore), three brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by two sons, a sister, sister-in-law, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Services held at Borden-Lloyd Funeral Home in Sheffield and burial in Barnes Cemetery.
