Elsie L. (Parsons) Adams, 97, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, at Cedar Ridge Center for Health Care and Rehab in Skowhegan, where she has been a resident since January 2005. She was born May 29, 1912, in New Sharon to Wilbur C. and Emma (Strickland) Parsons. Elsie attended schools in North Anson and Madison, graduating from Madison High School with the class of 1930. On Sept. 3, 1930, she married Earl C. Adams.
Elsie was a resident of Norridgewock for 30 years and previously lived in Cape Elizabeth and Madison.
She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Earl C. Adams, and a stepsister, Nathalie Heath.
She is survived by her stepbrother-in-law, Carryl Heath of Florida and Industry; several stepnieces and nephews; caregiver Mary J. Andrews of Solon; other extended family members and many longtime friends.
