Alfred Robert Shephard
Alfred Robert Shephard, age 91 years, passed away Monday evening, March 31 at Hill Crest home. He was born August 17, 1849 in Shamokin Town, Pa., and has lived in Dickinson county since 1866. Surviving him are two sons, Walter and Jesse, both of Abilene, one brother of Longview, Wash., one sister, of Carthage, Mo., and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Eicholtz Funeral home. Dr. Harry Gordon will officiate. Interment will be in the Abilene cemetery.
