Mrs. Walter Shephard
Mrs. Walter Shephard, 53, passed away at her home, 309 East Enterprise street Monday morning. She had lived in Abilene for six months, previously living in the Detroit community.
Mrs. Shepard is survived by her husband, four daughters and two sons. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Nicholtz funeral chapel, Rev. Townley officiating. Burial in the Abilene cemetery.

Mrs. Nellie Shephard
Nellie Maud Lacy Shephard was born in Coal City, OH, January 5, 1882, and departed this life on September 2, 1935. at the age of 52 years 8 months and 28 days.
She leaves to mourn her departure, her beloved husband; six children, Mrs. Fred Krause of Hope, Ralph of Abilene, Mrs.. Geo. Dunker of Solomon, Irene, Kenneth and Alma of the home; three grandsons; also three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Winn's, Mrs. Hardy Garden and Mrs. Elmer Dessenberger, all of Abilene, She also leaves a host of friends.
Six nephews acted as pallbearers at the funeral. They are Clarence Garden, Harry Garden, Roy Dessenberger, Ward Garden, Lawrence Garden and Glen Winn's.
