Barbara "Memaw" Babb – went to be with her Heavenly Father Sunday Feb 21, 2010 in Irving. Barbara was born Sept 26, 1933 in Dallas, TX to Manual Rufus Young & Ruby Grace Bunch. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Donald E. Babb, Sr. and a granddaughter. She is survived by daughter & spouse Tamara & Jesse Pinckard, Irving; son Donald Babb, Jr.; granddaughters & spouses Jessica & Matt Peters; Terah & David Johnson all of Irving; JoBeth Berry; grandsons Benjamin Babb & Donald Wayne Babb; seven great-grandchildren.

Barbara was a formerly employed by East Texas Motor Freight, Frito Lay and the Irving Police Department; she was a member of Oakview Baptist Church, Irving.

Funeral will be at Chapel of Roses Funeral Home, Irving on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with interment following in Sparkman-Hillcrest Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 – 8:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hope Cottage, Dallas or Scottish Rite Children's Hospital, Dallas.
