ADA MAY OZBUN was the sixth child born to George Washington and Susan Catherine (Vawter) Ozbun on June 17, 1890, in Lincoln, Washington County, Arkansas. Her mother died when she was eight years old. The family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she grew up.

She married Chancy C. Willis June 3, 1906, in Skiatook, Oklahoma. They had one daughter, Mamie Mae Willis. Chancy died 2 years later.

Ada May married Joseph Edde Pippin July 10, 1910, in Sperry, Oklahoma. Joe had a logging camp there. They later moved to Urbana, Dallas County, Missouri, where Joe had a sawmill, and threshing machine. They attended Urbana Christian Church. Ada and her daughter Mamie were baptized the same day in 1922, while attending that church.

Ada was a hard working lady. She had seven more children. Around 1938, they moved to a farm in Preston, Hickory County, Missouri, where Joe was reared. She always had a big garden, and provided good meals for her family. She was a good seamstress, and made many of her children's clothes. She was a good cook, and provided well for her family. She liked music, and enjoyed visiting with her friends.

She moved to Kansas City, Missouri, after her husband passed away in 1951. She cared for elderly people in their homes. She also helped her youngest daughter, Georgetta, with her family.

She was living at Lafeyette Manor in Lexington, Missouri when she passed away February 11, 1980.
