Guest, William (Bill) D., 83, retired Southwestern Bell Services Manager, died Sunday, February 21, 2010 at his home.
He was born October 26, 1926 in Augusta, Kansas to Harold and Mattie Guest. He was active in Augusta's Little League Baseball program and received the Pop Warner Award. He served in the United States Navy and returned to Augusta to start his career with Southwestern Bell.

Bill is preceded in death by both parents; sisters Jane Fennell and Jean Porter; brothers Ed Guest and Jack Guest.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Wilda; children Carl Guest (Beth) of Rogers, Arkansas; Carol Echols (Mitch) of Wichita; Madge Fields (Kelly) of Midwest City, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Bill Fields and Michele Fields both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Raegan Guest of Lowell, Arkansas; Carly Shaw (Lance) of Houston, Texas; one great-grandson, Reid Shaw of Houston, Texas.

The family requests memorials to be given to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in care of the funeral home.

Visitation with the family greeting friends will be Thursday, February 25, from 6-8 p.m. Graveside service will be held, Friday, Feb. 26, at 2:00 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery using the 12th Street entrance.
