STANTON, Services for Alice Daniell, 84, Stanton, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 15, at Faith Lutheran here. The Rev. Timothy Booth will officiate with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Norfolk. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Friday at Schultz-Vogel-Johnson Mortuary in Stanton. She died Tuesday, May 11, 1999, at her home in Stanton. The daughter of Herman and Lizzie (Wagner) Bentz was born July 21, 1914, at Spencer. She moved with her parents when she was 3 years old to Norfolk. She graduated from Norfolk High School in 1932 and worked for Hested's Department Store for several years. She married Richard Daniell on Feb. 26, 1939. She worked for Economy Foods and Henning Bakery in Norfolk. She managed the Norfolk drive-in theater with her husband. They moved to a farm near Stanton, where they lived for a short time until returning to Norfolk in 1941. She was employed as the credit manager at Sears for several years. They moved to Stanton in the 1960's. She worked at the Norfolk Regional Center as a phone system operator until retiring in 1976. Mrs. Daniell was a member of Faith Lutheran in Stanton. She was also a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliaries, both of Stanton. She was a member of the Clay Hill Club of Stanton. Survivors include one son and his wife, Tom and Janice of San Diego, Calif.; on sister, Elizabeth DeVore of Norfolk; two brothers, Bob Bentz of Norfolk and John Bentz of San Diego; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
