Edgar "Buster" David McCluer, was born September 8, 1922, in Pine Bluffs, Wyoming, to Edgar Wheeler and Myrtle Grace (Wentz) McCluer. At age 81, he passed on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2003, at his residence in Vancouver, Washington, where he had lived the last 28 years.

Edgar was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for 16 years and Alcoa for 22 years.

He enjoyed reading and watching sports.

Preceded in death by his son, David; and his parents, Edgar and Myrtle McCluer.

Survivors include his wife, Angelica "Midge"; one daughter, Cynthia McCluer; one sister, Edna Anderson; and four grandchildren.
