Christian Science funeral services for Mrs. Bert Cook, 77, 407 Blaine St., who died Saturday were conducted Tuesday at Hillview Chapel by Mrs. Lizzie Bell Antisdel, reader. Music was furnished by Mrs. Howard Berg, reader, and Mrs. Harold Alexander, organist. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Jerry Nelson, Stanley E. Swanson, Warren E. Larsen, Leo A. Hayes, Melvin Siebrandt and Robert H. Bentz. Mathilda Bentz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Bentz, was born Sept. 28, 1880, at Scribner. She was married June 10, 1903, to Thomas A. Negley, and to them three sons were born. Mr. Negley died Dec. 7, 1944. She was married in October 1949 to Bert Cook. She is survived by her husband; three sons, Byron of Long Beach and Clyde and Elvin of Norfolk; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and one brother August Bentz of Pender. She was preceded in death by her first husband, three sisters and four brothers.
