PATRICK, Mr. Robert Carl age 81, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Good Samaritan Hospital. A native of York, Alabama and a Dayton resident a number of years. Robert served in the U. S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of True Vine Missionary Baptist Church where he sang devotedly with the male chorus. Preceded in death by his parents, Jessie & Mattie Patrick; daughter, Barbara Pooler. Robert leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Kim (Charles) Hancock; sons, Jimmy (Deloris) Patrick, Aldophus (Ruby) Moss, Rodney, Bob & Victor (Erin) Patrick, Mark (Joy) Vaughn; sister-in-law, Annie Pearl Patrick; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 11 am Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at True Vine Missionary Baptist Church, 32 Malden Avenue. Rev. Mark Vaughn of Restored Life Ministry, officiating; Rev. Arthur Bell, Jr., Pastor. Interment Dayton National Cemetery. Visitation 9 am Wednesday at the church until the time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Arrangements entrusted to the HOUSE OF WHEAT Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. The family expresses their sincere thanks for all prayers and words of condolence.
