Agnes LaDelle Byers Age 88, of Morris, formerly of Braceville, passed away February 19, 2010 at her home. Born June 29, 1921 in Joliet to the late Stanley and Agnes (McCall) Freeman. Agnes was a member of the United Methodist Church in Braceville. Veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during WWII. Surviving are three daughters, Sharon (Terry) Markiel of Bloomington, IN, Linda Gualandi and Dorothy Jones, both of Morris; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband, Robert A. Byers, whom she married June 15, 1944 in Springfield, IL; two brothers, James Freeman and David Freeman; and one sister, Adair Zanaglia. Funeral services will be at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Homes, Ltd., Braidwood Chapel, Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour preceding services. Rev. Andrea Boggs will officiate. Interment with military honors was in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
