Hermine's funeral service was held on March 29, 1889 from St. Louis Roman Catholic Church in Toledo, Ohio. She was almost 52 years old when she died from a tumor. She and her husband, Maxime, had 17 children (only 10 lived to adulthood). All those who died young were born and died in Tilbury, Ontario, Canada.∼Hermine (aka Ermine) Beaugrand dit Champagne (1837 – 1889), daughter of Charles Beaugrand(1786 – 1861) and his wife Angele Aubuchon Desaliers (1807 – 1861), married Maxime Faneuff aka Phaneuf in Tilbury, Ontario. Her sister Julienne Beaugrand, married her husband's brother, Joseph Phaneuf.
