Crump, Leslie J. TROY Leslie J. Crump, 74, of Brunswick, died Monday, February 22, 2010 at Community Hospice in Samaritan Hospital. Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Raymond M. Crump and Evelyn Hatcher Crump and loving husband of Kathleen H. Cross Crump of Brunswick. Mr. Crump was a U.S. Marine veteran. He was an area carpenter with Local #370 for 35 years, retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Brunswick Elks #2550 and past president of the bocce league and member of the APA Billiards in Troy. Leslie was a computer buff and was a proud and loving grandfather. Survivors in addition to his wife Kathleen, include a son, Paul J. Crump (Jennifer Sorensen) of Troy; two daughters, Patricia K. Steck (Phillip) of Loudonville and Jennifer A. Anderson (Douglas) of Xenia, Ohio; a granddaughter, Alexandra R. Steck; a grandson, Aaron L. Steck; a brother, Raymond M. Crump Jr. of New Egypt, N.J.; two sisters, Madeline Schultz of Cohoes and Margaret Kocienski of Watervliet. Leslie was predeceased by three sisters, Helen Roy, Barbara Garbowski and Katherine Garcia. Funeral services will be Friday at 9:45 a.m. from the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, 109th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh and at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Pawling Avenue, Troy where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, Troy. Calling hours will be Thursday 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
