Born Dec. 18, 1895, in Sheboygan, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Acker. He married Belle Meier at Chilton on May 4, 1920.
Mr. Acker was employed as an electrical contractor in Sheboygan for 25 years, moved to Hopkinsvile, Ky., and resided there for 23 years and moved to Chilton the first of July.
He was a World War I veteran, member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society and former member of the Sheboygan Knights of Columbus. Mr. Acker is survived by his widow.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Chilton, and 10 a.m. at St. Marys Church, Chilton. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery (sic) in Sheboygan. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
