Tiffany Leigh (Ruefenacht) Smith, 7, Waldron, died Friday, Jan. 2, 1987 at 2:15 p.m. in the Riley Hospital in Indianapolis. She had been in failing health five years.
Smith was born in Greenfield Oct. 31, 1979, the daughter of Gary L. Ruefenacht and Debra Dodd. She had lived in Waldron three years and before that in Shelbyville. She was a member of the Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints Church, Shelbyville.
She is survived by her father, and by Mr. and Mrs. Richard S. (Debra Dodd) Smith; one sister, Taryn Amber (Ruefenacht) Smith, at home; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Dodd, Homer; and her great-grandmother, Viola Wesson, Shelbyville.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Glenn E. George Funeral Home in St. Paul, with Bishop Gary K. Rassumn officiating.
Burial will be in the Hurst Cemetery in Rush County.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home in St. Paul.
The family suggests that memorials go to the Waldron Elementary School Library, "In memory of Tiffany L. Smith."
