Willis V. Tanner, 67, of Route 1, Beaumont, died at 11:30 am Tuesday in Hotel Dieu Hospital after a brief illness.
A native of Little Rock, Ark. he had lived in Beaumont since 1923. At the time of his death he was a cabinetmaker for Roy Lee Lumber Company.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mary Tanner, and two sons, Willis V. Tanner Jr. and Donald C. Tanner, all of Beaumont; a sister, Mrs. Hazel Caldwell of Houston, and six grandchildren.
