Rites Held For Frances Hesse Here On Monday Funeral services for Frances Bell Hesse, 83, who died Saturday afternoon at the Johnson County Memorial Hospital, were held Monday from Adams Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Hennies officiating. She was born on Aug. 13, 1887 in Buffalo to Mr. and Mrs.Charles Buell, Johnson County pioneers. In 1915, she was married to Jesse Hillyer and they moved to California in 1916. He preceded her in death in 1928 and she continued to live in California for 40 years. She was married in 1966 to Fred W. Hesse and she had made her home in Buffalo since that time.She is survived by her husband Fred of Buffalo; one son, Walter Hillyer of Riverside, CA; a daughter, Wilfred Rassmussen of Oakland, CA and a sister, Mabel Winninger of Cody. Burial will be in Riverside, CA today. Friends, if they wish, may donate to the Hospital Memorial Fund in care of the Funeral Home.
