ROY A. FUSS, 46, died Sunday morning at 7:30 at his home, 233 1/2 Hamilton Avenue. He has been ill since October 30, and most of the time had been confined to his bed. Since Christmas, he has been in a critical condition.

He was born near Thurmont, Md., the son of Emmanuel and Rose (Miller) Fuss. His early life was lived at Thurmont. Mr. Fuss came to Waynesboro in 1932 from York where he had resided for ten years.

He was employed at the Waynesboro Shoe Factory as a machine operator and was one of the company's first employees.

He and his brother-in-law, Clarence R. Beam, operated a shoe repair shop at 208 Cleveland Avenue.

Surviving are his wife, Marie Hahn, and the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Hattie Sweeney, Miss Rettie Fuss, Walter, Elmer and Mrs. Walter Baker, all of Thurmont.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 from the Grove Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. Clarence McGaha and the Rev. C. M. Ankerbrand. Interment will be made in Green Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 7 until 9 p.m.
