Death Claims Post Falls Woman
Mrs. Mary Barritt, 75, Post Falls, died yesterday in a local nursing home following and extended illness. Mrs. Barritt was born in Eldorado Springs, MO and lived in St. Maries and Coeur d' Alene for six years before moving to Post Falls in 1980. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Barritt the former Mary Lindsey, and Millard Barritt were married in Stockton, MO October 3, 1905.
She is survived by her widower, a son James Aaron, Fairfield, MT; a daughter Mrs. Dale Watts, Post Falls; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; three brothers, Clyde Lindsey, Eldorado Springs, MO, Frank Lindsey, Ellensburg, WA, and Storlie Lindsey, Somers, MT; and three sisters, Mrs. Opal McWilliams, Kalispel, MT, Mrs. Lois Baxter, Spokane and Grace Gillman, Warren, AZ.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 Monday at the First Baptist Church, the Rev. William C. Hunter officiating, Internment in Restlawn Memorial Park.
