Conduct Services at Dixon, Sunday, for Alvin Jennings, 41
Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon in Dixon for Alvin Jennings, 41, who died at his home near Hayden, following a long illness with cancer.
The Rev. Wilson Davis officiated at the rites and interment was made in the Kenner cemetery. Pall bearers were Joe, Arthur, Jimmy and Linford Jennings, Jim Snodgrass and Ruben Shelden.
Mr. Jennings was born Feb. 1, 1921 near Hayden the son of Ben and Martha Minzes Jennings, who survive him.
He is also survived by his wife, the former Lorraine Weyand of Meta, and sons, Raymond Lee, James Alfred and Jerry one daughter, Barbara and the following stepchildren: Clinton, Allen, Patty, Charles, Mrs. Mary Snodgrass, Bill Smith; one brother, Chester Jennings and one sister, Mrs. Delphia Waldron, both of Dixon.
