Joe Lee Wolf was born in Belle, Missouri on June 20, 1937, the son of Walter and Irene Minzes Wolf Sudheimer and passed away on Monday, October 12, 1981 in Owensville, Missouri. He had attained the age of 44 years.

Joe is survived by his mother Mrs. Irene Sudheimer of St. James, 3 brothers, Henry Wolf and Jessie Sudheimer of Dixon and Bill Wolf of Petersburg, Illinois, 2 sisters, Lena Copeland of Vienna and Ellen O'Neil of Dixon, 14 nephews and 12 nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by 1 brother Nath Wolf, and his grandparents, Henry and Annie Minzes and Mary and Nick Wolf.

Joe had lived in Ruths Countryside Boarding House in Owensville for the last 6 years and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services were held in the Long Gilbert Chapel in Dixon with Earl Jones officiating. Burial was in the Kenner Cemetery under the direction of the Long Gilbert Funeral Home of Dixon. Hazel Schierbaum was the soloist and Aline Christeson was the organist. Serving as pallbearers were Raymond Wolf, Jim, Randy and Tom O'Neil and Carl and Ronnie Copeland.
