Bryce was a decorated WWII combat veteran.
He was a school teacher for 38 years and an insurance agent for 50 years. He was known throughout his life for his love of people and was ever willing to help those in need. He was always a servant.
Survived by wife Marge, two sons, Dean (Susann) Alger of Lowell, and Mark Alger of Henderson, Nevada, grandson Sean Alger of Wayne, Mi. and granddaughter Shannon of Holland, Mi. Also survived by brother Don (Yoshiko) Alger of Seville, Ohio and brother-in-law, Stan (Irene) Loomis.
There will be a Celebration of Life at the First Baptist Church, where Bryce was a member for many years.
