J.R. William "Bill" Letourneau of Marblehead, MA passed peacefully in his sleep on January 16th 2015. Known to many as "Gramp" or "Grampa Bill", he was the beloved husband of the late Florence (Howe) Letourneau.

Father to Bill Letourneau and Donna Lausier and grandfather to Mark Lausier, Todd Lausier, Lisa Lausier, Michael Ratte, Scott Ratte, Robert Letourneau and Donna Letourneau. He is also survived by many great and great-great grandchildren.

He was the last of 9 children having lived to the great age of 99 years and 7 months. He spent his working years as a fisherman, a lobsterman and a rigger at GE. In his later years as an avid boater, he could often be found cruising the harbor and offshore Marblehead in his boat, "Donna Too". His other great love was his maroon, Chevy Monte Carlo. Like clockwork, he would take the same drive every day through Marblehead to his favorite landmarks: the lighthouse, Commercial Street wharf, by the Landing down to Fort Sewall and through Little Harbor Boatyard.

Known for his humor and quick wit, he will be missed by all.

A Graveside Service will be held in Waterside Cemetery, 294 West Shore Drive, Marblehead on Friday, January 23 at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Bill's memory to the Epilepsy Foundation, 8301 Professional Place East, Suite 200 Attn: Donor Services, Landover, MD 20785.
