Ralph W. Streitmatter, 88, of rural Princeville, Illinois died at 7:55 AM, Friday, August 11, 2000, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois.
Born April 7, 1912, in rural Princeville to William A. and Nellie M. Pullen Streitmatter, he married Mabel Oertley on March 14, 1936, in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Susan Streitmatter, and one sister, Ferne Streitmatter.
One sister and an infant brother preceded him in death.
He was a farmer from 1934 to 1990. He was past president of the Edelstein School Board, director of Peoria County Service Co. and a member of Peoria County Farm Bureau.
