Delilah M. Anderson, 71, Mankato, died Friday, Sept. 10, 2004 at Oaklawn Health Care Center.

Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 13 at Mankato Mortuary.

Interment was in Tivoli Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to the American Diabetes Association or to an organization or the donor's choice.

Delilah Mae Anderson was born on Nov. 6, 1932 in Pipestone to Herman and Marian (Johnson) Mohlmann. She grew up in Pipestone until she married Darwin Dick Anderson on Aug. 6, 1950. They moved to Mankato in 1961.

She was primarily a homemaker but also worked at the Mankato House, was active in Home Extension and 4-H activities. She enjoyed camping at Lake Ballantyne for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Darwin, Mankato; seven children, Debra Anderson, Waterville; Richard Anderson, Mankato; Diane (Steve) Riese, Eagle Lake; Kim (Steve) Shamp, Mankato; Sue Weston, Mankato; David Anderson and Jeannie Vottler, Eagle Lake; James (Jerrie) Anderson, Waseca; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Larry L. Allen, Mankato; sister-in-law, Darlene Anderson, Pipestone and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
