Funeral services for Elton Ray Little, 83, of Mt. Home, Arkansas, formerly of Rusk County, will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, February 22, 2010, at Crawford A.-Crim Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Gerald Pepper officiating. Interment will in New Salem cemetary under the direction of Crawford A.-Crim Funeral Home in Henderson.
Mr. Little died Thursday, February 18, 2010, at his home in Mt. Home, Ark. He was born February 5, 1927 in Rusk County, and lived the last 10 years in Mt. Home, Ark. Mr. Little was a affiliated with the Baptist church and was a painter. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during World War II on the SS Taconic.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, Monday, February 22, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Little, and mother, Ruby Woods Little; 2 sisters, Tempy Dora Robertson and Martha Little.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Little of Mt. Home, Ark., step-mother, Jimmie Little of Tyler; one son, Stanley Little and wife Donna of Mt. Home, Ark.; two brothers, Harvey Little Jr. of High Islands, Tx., and Rick Little of Bullard; four sisters, Betty Sue Stanley of Jacksonville, Virginia Dale Woolverton of Gresham, Rachel Ann Wade of Tyler, and Isabel "Bibble" Pepper of Laneville; two grandchildren, Julie Marie Little and Dustin Ray Little.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
