"Deda" Barbara Oberdier
Funeral services for Mrs. "Deda" Barbara Oberdier, 86, of Kosciusko will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Parkway Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Feb. 2.
Mrs. Oberdier, a seamstress, died Jan. 30, 2007 at Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital. She was known throughout the state for her sewing. She loved playing bridge and her dog, Ginger. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Edward Joseph Oberdier; brother, Ralph Driver; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pearl and Ray Staver, Clara and Ray Hitchcock, Mae and John Long, Elsie and Lester Klingler, Mildred and Bruce McGinnis and Blanche and Walter Oberdier.
She is survived by a sister, Martha Luke of Lima, Ohio, and sister-in-law, Mary Driver.
Pallbearers are Bill McKnight, Larry Simmons, Dewey Shaffer, Lauren Oberdier, Jay England and Tim Alford.
Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Atwood, Edwin Albin, Bill Cullen and Stanley Hartness.
