He was a notary public in Maine for 32 years. He was a former member of Maine Chapter, Order of DeMolay and Mosaic Lodge No. 52 AF & AM, Dover-Foxcroft, and member of Dover-Foxcroft United Methodist Church. He was a volunteer at the Good Samaritan Agency and Ronald McDonald House, Bangor. He was a pilot for 31 years and enjoyed exploring Maine in his own plane with his camera.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Pratt; his daughter, Judi Morrison and two very special grandsons, Joey and Danny Morrison, of Bangor; brother, Steve and his wife, Jane, of Dover-Foxcroft and their boys, Brian, Mike and Justin; sister, Maggie McKinney of Manchester and her boys, Seamus and Eammon; and brother, Tom of Newburgh and his son, TJ. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive him.
Burial will be in the family lot at South Dover Cemetery in the spring. (Bangor Daily News 3/1/2010)
