HENDERSON, JAMES E., 72, of Tampa, died Tuesday (Dec. 3, 2002). He was an Air Force veteran, retiring in 1971 with the rank of chief master sergeant. He was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, the Bronze Star Medal and the South Vietnamese Honor Medal, second class. He was a salesman and general manager at Hawke Chrysler-Plymouth, retiring in 1992 after 20 years. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Shirley Memory Henderson; four daughters, Lee Ann Howlett, Pamela Henderson Stross, Carol Lagos, all of Tampa, and Heidi Henderson, Arlington, Va.; a sister, Clara Henderson Adams, Tallahassee; and two grandsons. Blount & Curry Funeral Home, Carrollwood Chapel, Tampa.
