Margaret Corfield, 90, of New Brighton, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2010 while under the compassionate care of the staff on 3 West, Friendship Ridge. Margaret was born November 4, 1919 in Syracuse, NY, daughter of the late David and Pluma (Mosure) Hardesty. She was a devoted wife and mother. Margaret was a life long member of the 5th Avenue Methodist Church, New Brighton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Frank C. Corfield on March 4, 2001; and three brothers: Gene, Gaylord and Robert.
Margaret is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: James and Helen Corfield, New Brighton.
Friends will be received today, from 5 to 8 p.m., in the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). Her funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Rev. Rita Platt-Anderson, officiating. Private interment will follow.
