KIDNAPPING VICTIM
During the French & Indian War Margaret was kidnapped by local Indians as she walked home from a local celebration in Bedford Co. She was gone 5 years having been traded between tribes on occasion. Released at Fort Detroit she walked home to Bedford Co., Pennsylvania where she was reunited with family.
