Funeral Services for Pfc. Anker August 2

Funeral services were held at Arlington National cemetery on Monday, Aug. 2, for the late Pfc. Dean W. Anker who made the supreme sacrifice on March 11, 1945, near Trier, Germany. The ceremony was conducted by Chaplain John L.
Simpson of the U. S. Army.
Pfc. Anker's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Anker, of Cass City atended the services, also his brother, Cadet Don C. Anker, of West Point who was granted an emergency leave. The Ankers accompanied their son, Don, to West Point and returned to Cass City on Thursday, Aug. 5.
