"Mrs. Emma M. Caulfield Abbott, 83, Gladstone, died Saturday at North Kansas City Memorial Hospital. She was born in Girard, Kan., and lived in the Kansas City area most of her life. Mrs. Abbott leaves two sons, Frank Caulfield of the home and Harry Caulfield of Kansas City; two brothers, Arlie Williams of Wichita and Robert Crawford of Oklahoma; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Frazier of Wichita and Mrs. Louise Thompson of Lake Lotawana; a granddaughter and a great-grandson. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Newcomer White Chapel; burial in White Chapel Cemetery." The Kansas City Times, October 1, 1984
