Dale attended First United Methodist Church and was a member of VFW Post No. 3111, American Legion Post No. 180, Eagles Lodge No. 646 and the Disabled American Veterans, all in Great Bend.
Survivors include his wife, Opal Jones, of the home; two sons, Armand H. Jones and wife Angelika, Kahl, Germany, and William L. Jones and wife Tammy, Great Bend; a daughter, Astrid M. Kammerlander and husband Gerold, Hangen-Weisheim, Germany; two stepdaughters, Angela Miller of Lawrence and Donna Wharton and husband Nelson of Great Bend; a brother, Clarence E. Jones of Larned; six grandchildren, two stepgrandsons, four great-grandchildren and four stepgreat-grandsons.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bryant Funeral Home, Great Bend, with the Rev. Gary Brooks officiating. Interment will be at the Great Bend Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Donations to memorial funds for VFW Post 3111 or for First United Methodist Church may be made in care of the funeral home.
